Extraction Excellence – Our Project Site
CHATE Mining is preparing to develop a gold mining project in Zambia’s mineral-rich Central Province, targeting a prospective area of approximately 10,000 hectares.
The selected region offers strong geological potential and is well positioned near key infrastructure, making it an ideal location for phased development.
We plan to adopt a hybrid extraction strategy — beginning with open-pit mining for accessible surface-level deposits, and later introducing underground techniques to explore and recover deeper high-grade resources.
While full-scale production is not yet underway, our goal is to build a responsible mining operation capable of processing up to 50,000 tons of ore annually, based on progressive scaling and site evaluation.
All extraction processes will be developed in alignment with international environmental and safety standards.
Sustainability and Transparency at Our Core
Our mine is being designed from the outset with sustainability in mind. Planned features include:
- Water Recycling Systems: Designed to recover over 85% of water used during processing.
- Land Rehabilitation: Gradual restoration of disturbed areas with native plants and biodiversity corridors.
